TERMS & CONDITIONS
CREDIT:
Wells Tool will ship open account (upon request) to those forms having satisfactory Dun &
Bradstreet ratings of HH2 or better. Accounts over 45 days are past due and put on hold until
satisfactory payment has been made. Non-rated accounts must either be shopped cash on delivery
(COD) or send a check with orders.
TERMS:
Terms are net/30 days. Credit or open accounts will only be extended to those firms with an
acceptable credit ratings. Accounts unpaid beyond 30 days are subject to a service charge of
1-1/2% per month.
CANCELLATION:
Cancellation of orders is only acceptable with prior consent of Wells Tool. All cancelled
orders, especially non-stocked or special items, may be subject to a cancellation fee.
RETURNED ITEMS:
Items may not be returned for credit without prior consent of Wells Tool. Full credit will
be issued for any and all errors on the part of Wells Tool. Items older than 30 days after
shipment can not be returned for credit. Non-stocked, specialty, altered, used, or damaged
items can not be returned for credit. Items returned for credit are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
SHIPPING:
Unless otherwise instructed, Wells Tool will decide the optimum shipping method. Most shipments
are made via UPS, however Federal Express, parcel post, and trucking (for heavier shipments) are
available. The shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Wells will not absorb shipping
costs.
CLAIMS:
All claims for incomplete or incorrect shipments must be made within 72 hours of receipt of the
shipment.
QUOTATIONS:
Wells Tool is happy to quote all specialty needs. Please fax us a detailed written request. All
details not specifically stated will be quoted and manufactured to standard tap specifications. Most
quotes are answered within 24-48 hours, however for unusual quotations, a longer period of time may
be needed.
PRICING CHANGES:
All pricing contained within this catalog are subject to change without prior or written notice. In
the case of back orders, Wells will honor the price at the time of purchase, excepting for extreme
cases. In these cases, Wells will contact the customer for approval prior to shipment.
ITEMS NOT LISTED:
If an item is needed that is not within the pages of this catalog, please contact us. Most likely it
is either on our shelves, we can obtain it, or we can manufacture it.
ERRORS:
Wells is not responsible for any errors in price or description that occur from printing this catalog.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:
Liability is limited to the cost of material supplied. Wells assumes no liability for damage or injury
to property or persons caused by material furnished by or through us. Technical information is provided
for guidance only. Wells is not liable for loss or damage caused by contingencies, such as strikes, acts
or God, and shipping delays beyond our control.
